Is Jesus the "seed" of Abraham that blesses all nations? ~ Cross reference of Acts 3:25 to Genesis 22:18, Genesis 26:4
Peter while addressing the Jews in the temple court makes a bold claim that Jesus is the very seed that god promised Abraham in Genesis 22. The issue with this assertion is that the word "seed" always is plural in Tanakh and never used in singular form. So the true meaning of G-d's promise to Abraham is that though his descendants all the nations will be blessed. The blessing is going to be terrestrial not saving people from sins.
