Did David call Jesus lord? ~ Cross reference of Matthew 26:64 to Psalms 110:1 & Daniel 7:13
The Psalms have been a favorite cross reference spot for the Greek Texts. The reason for this is that through Psalms David is expressing his feelings of Fear, Helplessness, betrayal... to G-d and these fit nicely with the sufferings, betrayal & death of Jesus. You will find very few cross references of passages about Love, Thanks, Awe, Courage that David expresses to G-d because it does not align with the Christian beliefs as for them Jesus is god. Lets see how strong these cross references are to show that Jesus was the lord of David and that he will come in the clouds. Don't you think it is odd that the Greek text had to pick verses from different parts of Tanakh to make a proof text about Jesus being the messiah? All Images are links to Google Images.
