The poor you will always have ~ Cross reference of John 12:7 to Deuteronomy 15:11
In Deuteronomy 15:11 G-d says, the poor will always be in the land and so you need to make sure you take care of them. Jesus said, the poor you will always have so this time you take care of me. Given he was going to die for the sins of all the people who believe in him, I guess it is a small ask. Only point I wish to make is the cross reference and what Jesus said do not agree.
