Did David prophecy that Matthias will replace Judas ~ Cross reference of Acts 1:20 to Psalm 109:8
I found Acts 15-20 very interesting, because The whole event that " Judas had to betray Jesus " so he can die for the sins of anyone who believes in him and that this was prophesied by David 1700 years ago is quite difficult to digest. Another inconsistency is that the "field of blood" was bought by Judas as per Luke and as per Matthew, the priests bought it. Luke then cherry picks 2 passages from Psalm 109 & 69 to say that David prophesied that someone else should take his place. Does prophecy in Tanakh work like this? I don't think so.
