Did Isaiah say that a new heaven and earth will be created for Christians? ~ Cross reference of Revelation 21:1 to Isaiah 65:17
Revelation 21 claims that a new heaven and a new earth will be created and a new Jerusalem will come down from heaven. This chapter is full of amazing imagery of what the future state of the world will look like. While this can be a belief of the Christian faith, this does not align with what Tanakh teaches especially about the claim of Christians and Jesus being the center of this new creation. G-d promises that in the messianic age life will be just like it was intended to be and Israel and G-d are the center of this creation. If you read a few passages after the cross referenced passages in Isaiah you will see that it is talking about Israel and has nothing to do with gentiles who believe in Jesus.
