Did Paul just say G-d will repay a person for his deeds? ~ Cross reference of Romans 2:6 to Psalm 62:13
Is it only me or does Paul confuse you also. Here he preaches that G-d will reward a person according to his deeds. If your deeds are good, G-d will bless you and if you deeds are evil, G-d will punish you. So simple and true. I think this is one of the few cross references of Paul where we can say "Good job Paul" Paul says that if the law was not there, he would have been sinless. See what he says here Romans 2:12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. His core message though is that man is such a helpless being that no matter how many good deeds he does, he will not be able to save himself. As we go through the letters of Paul, you will see that according to the private revelation(s) he got from Jesus, Paul pushes one point consistently that anyone abiding by the Torah will die by the Torah and only faith in Jesus's blood can save a person from hell.
