Is Jesus the Corner, Precious, Rejected, Stumbling stone? ~ Cross reference of 1 Peter 2:6-8 to Isaiah 28:16, Psalm 118:22, Isaiah 8:14

Peter says in this chapter that the believers of Jesus are living stones that are part of a spiritual building that has Jesus as the center. He quotes a few passages from Tanakh to say that this was the plan even before the creation and the Jews just did not get it. He cites that Jesus is the precious corner stone for those whose eyes are open and accept him as their savior. Jesus is the rejected stone for those who rejected him, Jesus is the stumbling stone for those who hear about Jesus but do not accept him. Since peter has covered all the bases, let us see if Tanakh supports this claim. All Images are links to Google Images. Copyright violations not intended. How does the parable of the vineyard show that Jesus was the cornerstone? ~ Cross reference of Mark 12:9 to Psalm 118:22

Jesus in these passages is telling a parable of a man who prepares a vineyard and leases it out to some people. They turn against the owner and every time the owner sends his servants to collect his share in the vineyard's produce, they either hurt or kill the servants. The owner then sends his son thinking they will regard his son and give him his share. The people see that the heir of the vineyard is here so they kill the son. Owner then comes with all vengeance and kills the and gives the vineyard to other people. Jesus than concludes the parable to say that the stone that people rejected has become the cornerstone. I think Jesus is trying to say that the owner is god, the servants are prophets of Israel, the son is Jesus and the wicked people are the leaders of Israel [all the Jews who rejected him]. Then how is the dead son the corner stone? He is dead. Jesus does not talk about the son raising from the dead and owning the vineyard or making sure the people do their part of ta...
