Does G-d justify the ungodly? ~ Cross reference of Romans 4:4 to Psalm 32:1
Paul makes bold statements and quotes Tanakh to push his theology that we are justified by faith and not works . What amazes me is why Christians do not take time to lookup what Tanakh says. If they read Tanakh in context, they will find that what he quotes is wrong or out of context. In this case he stats that G-d justifies the ungodly . If you read the cross reference he uses in Psalm 32, you will see that G-d forgives the wicked if they repent with all their heart and turn away from their sins and obey the laws of G-d and make effort to be righteous. This is what G-d says over and over. Repent, turn away from sin, turn to me [obey my laws]. Ezekiel 18:21 “But if a wicked person turns away from all the sins they have committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, that person will surely live; they will not die.
