Did god say that anyone who does not believe in Jesus will not enter place of rest? ~ Cross reference of Hebrews 3:11 to Psalm 95:7
Hebrews 3 focusses on projecting Jesus as a priest. This is not in line with what Tanakh says about the messiah. Tanakh says that Jesus should be a descendant of David[Judah]. He should rule and bring peace. Could this is be an embellishment to support the death of Jesus, Christians came up with an approach that first time he will wipe out sin and and the next time he will do the expected messiah role. While the Christian belief is that Jesus is the sacrificial lamb, here for some reason, Hebrews projects Jesus as the priest as well to. So I guess the belief is that Jesus is the high priest who offered himself as a sacrifice. This cross reference is about how unbelief in Jesus is going to make people stand condemned. The cross reference from Psalm 95 I guess is to show that David prophesied about how the Jews will stand condemned because of their unbelief. Let us read Psalm 95 in context and see if this is true.
