Herod was known to be a very insecure person and history records that he even murdered members of his own family. He was also a brilliant architect and was responsible for extending and 2nd Temple and making into a magnificent piece of architecture. If all his good and bad deeds are recorded by Josephus, Talmud & the Roman historical writings, I wonder why no historical Jewish or Roman documents have details about this mass murder of all the male children below 2 years in Bethlehem and its surroundings?
