Did Jesus have to come out of Egypt? - Cross reference of Matthew 2:18 to Hosea 11:1
Did Matthew make Jesus go all the way to Egypt creating a fictitious murder attempt by Herod so that a prophecy by Hosea would be fulfilled. By the way I already covered this in another post that shows why this was never prophesied. When I get to Luke I will post how Luke makes Joseph go from Nazareth to Bethlehem so Jesus can be born in Bethlehem with a fictitious census by Caesar Augustus and then brings him back to Nazareth so that Jesus can fulfill the prophecy[By Matthew] that "He will be called a Nazarene" which by the way does not exist.
