Israel is referred to in Singular - Key Passages
There are several passages where Tanakh uses " singular nouns " for Israel, Jacob, a tribe of Israel as individual and sometimes even to a gentile. This is a style of Hebrew writing and should not mistake as grammatical errors or attribute the passage to one person like Jesus.
