Did Jesus speak in Parables so people should not understand and be saved? ~ Cross reference of Matthew 13:15 to Isaiah 6:9
Jesus's disciples come to him in private and ask him why he speaks in parables. This happens when they are clueless about the parable of the farmer who sows seeds and some fall in the fertile ground, some among bushes, some on the wayside. Jesus says that he teaches in parables so people will not understand repent and & be saved. Parables are always used to make things easier for the listener to understand. If Jesus came to die for peoples sins, should have not have taught in a way so that people understand and repent and be saved? Tanakh never talks about the messiah coming to teach people about G-d, G-d's kingdom, himself, do miracles, heal / feed people. He will come during the messianic age when everyone knows about G-d and they will all worship the ONE TRUE G-D. Let us see if what Matthew quoted as a cross reference is correct.
