Was Jesus the cornerstone that David wrote about? ~ Cross reference of Luke 20:17 to Psalm 118:22


Luke like Matthew & Mark uses Psalm 118:26 to say that Jesus was the cornerstone that David wrote about. He was telling the Jews that David knew 1700 years later the Jews would reject him.

Luke 20:17 Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written: “‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’[a]? 18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”

Psalm 118:22 The stone that the builders rejected became a cornerstone.
