Fly business class to hell, You just need to lust ~ Cross reference of Matthew 5:27 to Exodus 20:13
Jesus taught that sexual impurity starts to happen when one lusts for someone with who he / she cannot have sexual relations. I think he taught well as one needs to snub this desire so it does not lead to actions.
This teaching applies all the more to us in these times where the culture does not treat this as a big deal compared to the time when G-d gave this ordinance. During that time, the person caught in adultery would be subject to capital punishment.

All Greek Text references are from NIV and Tanakh references are from Chabad.
My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.
Matthew 5:27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[e] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
Exodus 20:13 You shall not murder. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 14 You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox, his donkey, or whatever belongs to your neighbor."
Jesus taught well and each one of us needs to try and obey what he taught.
Did G-d actually mean that if you look at a woman with lust you have committed adulatory? Let me share share a few points from Tanakh that cover adultery.
- While G-d did not encourage polygamy explicitly, he did not restrict a man from having multiple wives as long as he followed the guidelines to ensure all the wives were provided for.
- G-d addressed this evil inclination we all have by
- Giving us a Law not to commit adultery [G-d specified 37 prohibited sexual relations]
- G-d insisted that physical relations can happen only within a marriage [this was not ONLY for pleasure but to have offspring]
- If a man lusts for another woman he must first marry her and then he can have physical relations.
