Triumphant Entry ~ Cross reference of Luke 19:37 to Psalm 118:26

The "Triumphant Entry" is key for the Greek text. All the four gospels have this event recorded to show that Jesus was indeed the messiah that god sent to take away the sins of the people.

I have a feeling that this event all the way through the crucifixion and resurrection were later inventions to justify the dead messiah.

Click here to see why Psalm 118 has nothing to do with Jesus's entry into Jerusalem.

This post is not intended to offend anyone's faith but for those people who are Seeking the truth of THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe to who we owe all our love, gratitude & devotion.

My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.

G-d Bless and Seek THE Truth.

Luke 19:37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: 38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b] “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” 40 “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.”

Psalm 118:26 Blessed be he who has come in the name of the Lord; we have blessed you in the name of the Lord. 27 The Lord is God, and He gave us light. Bind the sacrifice with ropes until [it is brought to] the corners of the altar.
