Isaiah 54-55 have amazing promises for Israel G-d says he will make a covenant of mercy with Israel like he made with David.
Paul asserts that this covenant of David has now come to the gentiles through Jesus. Let us see how true this claim is

First of all there is nothing about holy blessing of David in Isaiah [even the NIV version of the Greek text does not say holy]. Paul misquotes this passage to assert that Jesus through his "holiness" has established a covenant between god and gentiles.
Below you can see all the passages that show that G-d is talking to his people Israel. You will not find any mention of the messiah[Jesus], gentiles, pagan nations or Paul.
- Isaiah 54:1 "Sing you barren woman who has not borne; burst out into song and jubilate, you who have not experienced birth pangs, for the children of the desolate one are more than the children of the married woman," says the Lord. 2 Widen the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations, do not spare; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. 3 For right and left shall you prevail, and your seed shall inherit nations and repeople desolate cities. - G-d is telling Israel to rise and grow and inherit the nations. If G-d was addressing the gentile nations [believers of Jesus] why will they inherit themselves.
- Isaiah 54:5 For your Master is your Maker, the Lord of Hosts is His name, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, shall be called the God of all the earth. - Here G-d is saying that he has chosen Israel as his own [maker].
- Isaiah 54:7 "For a small moment have I forsaken you, and with great mercy will I gather you. 8 With a little wrath did I hide My countenance for a moment from you, and with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on you," said your Redeemer, the Lord. - This verse is a proof that Isaiah 53 is about the righteous remnant of Israel. This passage tells you that G-d let Israel suffer through the hands of the nations.
- Isaiah 54:9 "For this is to Me [as] the waters of Noah, as I swore that the waters of Noah shall never again pass over the earth, so have I sworn neither to be wroth with you nor to rebuke you. 10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills totter, but My kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of My peace totter," says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. - G-d says here that just as he made a promise to Noah about never letting a flood destroy the earth so also he will never abandon Israel. G-d adds that even if the mountains and hills are removed, his love for Israel will not change.
- Isaiah 55:4 Behold, a witness to nations have I appointed him, a ruler and a commander of nations. 5 Behold, a nation you do not know you shall call, and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, for the sake of the Lord your God and for the Holy One of Israel, for He glorified you. - Here you see clearly that G-d is talking about Israel and not any messiah or gentile nation. G-d says his people will be a witness of G-d to the nations and they will these gentile nations will come running to embrace the G-d of Israel and the people of Israel.
