Did god make the Jews reject Jesus so the gentiles can be blessed? ~ Cross reference of Romans 11:34 to Isaiah 40:13, Job 41:11
Jesus claimed that he was sent by god to save the lost sheep of Israel and Paul here seems to say that, Jesus was supposed to be rejected by the Jews even though he came only for the Jews and this was part of god's plan.
What is even more strange is that Paul claims, that god makes people disobedient so he can have grace on the disobedient people. Kind of strange that god does these kind of confusing acts.
I don't have much to write here as Paul writes a doxology that could have been sung in the early churches to praise
Only point I can call out is that neither Isaiah nor Job has anything to do with the messiah or rejecting the messiah or people being disobedient. Both these passages are about how the ONE TRUE G-D of the universe is the creator of every thing that exists and that he owns his creation.
