Did Christians take up the insults that non-believers throw at Jesus? ~ Cross reference of Romans 15:3 to Psalm 69:10

Paul is talking about how the strong[I guess in faith] should help the week. He states that Jesus did the same. I quite don't agree with Jesus being tolerant of others because you see him cursing his disciple for every mistake and shortcoming they had.

Anyway what bothers me is he quoting Psalm 69 to say that this was taught to us in scriptures from long ago that Christians will face challenges where non-believers will talk against Jesus and they need to take those insults like David took for god.

Let us see if this is stated in Psalm 69.

This post is not intended to offend anyone's faith but for those people who are Seeking the truth of THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe to who we owe all our love, gratitude & devotion.

My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.

G-d Bless and Seek THE Truth.

Romans 15:3 For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”

Psalm 69:10 For the envy of Your house has consumed me, and the humiliations of those who blaspheme You have fallen upon me.
  • David in this Psalm is calling out to to G-d to help him from his enemies who want to hurt him even though he has not done them any harm. He says he that he has become weary of waiting for G-d's help.
  • Psalm 69:5 Those who hate me for nothing are more numerous than the hairs of my head; mighty are those who would cut me off, who are my enemies because of lies; what I did not steal, I will then return.
  • David asks G-d that, the people who trust G-d will help them through David their king should not be disappointed.
  • Psalm 69:7 Do not let those who hope for You be shamed through me, O Lord God of Hosts; let those who seek You not be disgraced through me, O God of Israel.
  • David then says that the people who are against him are insulting him because David trusted in G-d. I guess they could have said that he trusts G-d but we can overthrow him.
  • Psalm 69:8 For I have borne humiliation because of You; disgrace has covered my face. 10 For the envy of Your house has consumed me, and the humiliations of those who blaspheme You have fallen upon me.
  • All these passages are about THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe. Also David is saying that his enemies were blaspheming G-d because David trusted G-d for help to defeat his enemies not about Christians being insulted for believing in Jesus for eternal like.
