Did Isaiah prophecy that Christians will speak in tongues? ~ Cross reference of 1 Corinthians 14:21 to Isaiah 28:11

Paul quotes Isaiah after stating "in the law it is written" the law is the first books of the Torah. Thought it was cute to call this out.

Anyway, Paul says that people should rather prophecy rather than speak in tongues. His point is that prophecy will get the attention of unbelievers when they see prophecy being made they will repent of their sins and become Christians.[not sure how a prophecy convicts the unbeliever though]

I think Paul is using Isaiah 28 to say that that "speaking in another language" is like tongues but it is not. What Isaiah 28 is talking about how Ephraim [10 norther tribes] were going though a period of living a bad life.

Isaiah is saying that the words of the prophet were like a speech in another language to Ephraim. There is nothing about tongues or a foreign nation coming and speaking to Ephraim.

This post is not intended to offend anyone's faith but for those people who are Seeking the truth of THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe to who we owe all our love, gratitude & devotion.

My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.

G-d Bless and Seek THE Truth.

1 Corinthians 14:21 In the Law it is written: “With other tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.”

Isaiah 28:11 For with distorted speech and in another language, does he speak to this people. 12 For he said to them, "This is the rest; give rest to the weary, and this is the tranquility," but they would not listen.
