Why does John get "fall of Babylon" wrong? ~ Cross reference of Revelation 14:8 to Isaiah 21:9

Revelation 14 asserts that Babylon will fall during the end times. This I think is some form of spiritualization of the historical event that happened during Daniels time.

If you read Isaiah 21 in context, it is a simple narration of the historical event. What is even more strange is that the Christian belief ignores multiple passages that clearly show that this is a historical event and move this to a prophecy that will happen before Jesus comes the second time.

This post is not intended to offend anyone's faith but for those people who are Seeking the truth of THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe to who we owe all our love, gratitude & devotion.

My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.

G-d Bless and Seek THE Truth.

Revelation 14:8 A second angel followed and said, “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

Isaiah 21:9 And behold this is coming, a chariot of men, a pair of riders." And he called out and said, "Babylon has fallen, yea, it has fallen, and all its graven idols he has dashed to the earth."

Isaiah 21 is about the defeat of Babylon by Media[Persia]. This is a historical event that happened 70 years after Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Jerusalem and the first temple and took majority of the Jews into exile. This has nothing to do with some future event. I think Christians spiritualize Babylon to some group of people or a nation.
  • If you read the below passages you will see that multiple prophesies are made about the fall of Babylon.
    • Jeremiah 51:8 Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. Wail over her! Get balm for her pain; perhaps she can be healed.
    • Jeremiah 51:47 For the time will surely come when I will punish the idols of Babylon; her whole land will be disgraced and her slain will all lie fallen within her.
    • Jeremiah 51:49 Babylon must fall because of Israel’s slain, just as the slain in all the earth have fallen because of Babylon.
    • Jeremiah 51:64 Then say, ‘So will Babylon sink to rise no more because of the disaster I will bring on her. And her people will fall.’” The words of Jeremiah end here.
  • If you read Daniel 5 you will see that G-d shows Daniel that during the time of Belshazzar Babylon will fall. That is exactly what happened.
    • Daniel 5:30 That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, 31 and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.
  • If you read Isaiah 21:2 you will see that even Isaiah clearly tells us that the Medes will be given power by G-d to defeat Babylon and that is exactly what happened when Darius I attacked Babylon and killed Belshazzar and took over the kingdom.
    • Isaiah 21:2 A harsh prophecy was told to me; The traitor shall be betrayed and the plunderer shall be plundered; march, O Elam, Besiege, O Media! All sighs have I brought to an end.
