No parables. I don't want to go to hell. ~ Cross reference of Matthew 13:34 to Psalm 78:1
Matthew states that Jesus spoke in parables so people should not understand, repent and be saved. Jesus however made sure his followers understood so that after he dies, they would teach the people and then they will understand and be saved. Kind of twisted don't you think?
Tanakh states that the messiah will come at a time when everyone will know about the ONE TRUE G-D of the universe and no one needs to teach another [Jeremiah 32:33].
So even if Matthew claims that Jesus taught because the messiah should come to teach, should Jesus not have taught so people understand and get saved?

Parables are used to make things clear not obscure for the listener right?.
Let us see if Matthew got the right cross reference from Tanakh that "prophesied" that Jesus would speak in parables and make sure majority of people go to hell.

Matthew 13:34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. 35 So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world.”[c]
Psalm 78:1 A maskil of Asaph. Hearken, my people, to my instruction, extend your ear to the words of my mouth. 2 I shall open my mouth with a parable; I shall express riddles from time immemorial. 3 That we heard and we knew them, and our forefathers told us. 4 We shall not hide from their sons; to the last generation they will recite the praises of the Lord, and His might and His wonders, which He performed.

- Matthew says that Jesus speaking in parables was prophesied in Tanakh and quotes Psalm 78 that was written by Asaph who was not a prophet. also a Maskil is a teaching to enlighten the listener and not a prophecy.
- In Psalm 78:2,3 Asaph is saying that he will speak in parables & riddles the amazing things that G-d did for our ancestors so that they will understand what he is saying.
- In verses 4-6 Asaph says that once we understand those Amazing things we should tell our children from generation to generation so they too will understand and praise G-d.
- In verses 7-8 Asaph wishes that this generation will not be like their forefathers but trust G-d and obey his commands.
- The rest of the Psalm calls out all the wonderful things that G-d did for Israel.
Matthew says Jesus taught so people don't understand and go to hell and that this was prophesied by Asaph.
