Is Sabbath rest about going to heaven? ~ Cross reference of Hebrews 4:4 to Genesis 2:2

This is probably a very sloppy verse in the Greek text where the author of Hebrews says that "somewhere he has spoken" so much for every word of the Greek text being god breathed.

Anyway what Hebrews 4 is saying is that Christians who believed in Jesus will enter the rest [I believe he is saying that the Christians will go to heaven], while Israel did not believe in Jesus and hence are not be going to heaven.

What confuses me is why does he quote Genesis 2:2 that talks about G-d taking rest on the seventh day. There are several other passages that talk about Sabbath that G-d gave as a command to Israel.

I will quote a few of these passages and leave this post here as Sabbath rest is for Israel as part of the 613 laws and they are to keep it for eternity on this earth.

This is not about going to heaven and resting.

This post is not intended to offend anyone's faith but for those people who are Seeking the truth of THE ONE TRUE G-D of the universe to who we owe all our love, gratitude & devotion.

My encouragement to you is that you read the whole chapter of Tanakh that the Greek text quotes so you get the context and understand what G-d actually said.

G-d Bless and Seek THE Truth.

Hebrews 4:4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”

Genesis 2:2 And God completed on the seventh day His work that He did, and He abstained on the seventh day from all His work that He did.

Exodus 20:8 “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.

Exodus 20:10 but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.

Exodus 31:13 “Say to the Israelites, ‘You must observe my Sabbaths. This will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come, so you may know that I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

Exodus 35:2 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath rest to the Lord. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death.
