Genesis 7:1 And the Lord said to Noah, "Come into the ark, you and all your household, for it is you that I have seen as a righteous man before Me in this generation.

Is the law not based on Faith? ~ Cross reference of Galatians 3:12 to Leviticus 18:5

Paul makes a very wrong statement that the law is not based on faith. I believe his view is that anyone who keeps the law expects that G-d will bless them even if they don't believe, love, fear G-d.  This is a lie. There are several passages in Tanakh that talk about the blessings that G-d will give those who love him and keep his commands. The teaching of Tanakh is very consistent that one needs to have faith in G-d and show that faith my living to the standards of G-d's laws. All Images are links to Google Images. Did David write that Jesus will have zeal for G-d's temple? ~ Cross reference of John 2:13 to Psalm 69:10

John has Jesus start his miracles with turning water into wine. The messiah in Tanakh is not supposed to be a miracle worker. If you know of any passages that say the messiah will need to do miracles, do share the reference. Galilee region was on adrenalin before, during & after the time of Jesus and there were at least 3 messiahs [claimants at least] who came from this region before Jesus. You can read about them by clicking this link.  Likewise during 1 CE there were Jewish Rabbis who were thought to have powers to perform miracles. Greco Roman world would not accept a leader if he was not a man-god and these people were thought to have performed miracles Click to read.
